When you do things right or wrong

No matter what you do, always do the best you can. That's what counts.

It's the irony of life,
you could spend your whole life
doing things in the correct way,
behaving well,
with nothing to reproach yourself for...

But as soon as you make a mistake,
as soon as you screw up,
as soon as you do something wrong,
everyone takes it into account,
they never forget it,
they always reproach you for it,
and it is never erased from their memory.

Still, always do your best,
always seek to do the right thing,
even if they criticize you
and say whatever they say.

Sometimes you will mess up,
is part of life,
but you should always remember
that the errors are not what defines you
but how far you get in the day to day.
