Have you ever felt that following God is like climbing a steep mountain, full of challenges and hardships? You're not alone, even the Apostle Paul spoke of 'running the race' in his quest for the divine (1 Corinthians 9:24). But there's something we must remember: Following God might be an uphill battle, but the view from the top is everlasting. Yes, the journey is tough, but the destination is worth it. When we reach that spiritual place of complete communion with God, the trials and difficulties of the journey seem small compared to the peace and eternity that awaits us.
I face life's trials, but I don't back down,
each fall I take is just a stepping stone.
As hard as it gets, I'll keep moving on,
with God as my guide, I can never go wrong.
I've seen the dark, but also the light,
I know that life's journey can sometimes be trite.
But if a thorn comes up on my path today,
I'll see it as a step in my divine ballet.
Yes, following God might be an uphill battle,
but I know the view from the top is everlasting, not shallow.
No matter the cost, the sweat, or the hour,
at the end of this journey, I'll find His power.
