We often underestimate the power of our words, thinking they're just sounds carried away by the wind. But words can be more than mere echoes fading into thin air; they can turn into seeds of kindness or venom, arrows that wound or hugs that heal. Like waves in the sea, some words can be soft and refreshing, while others hit hard, eroding even the toughest rock. And while it's true that wind may whisk words away, it can't erase the harm they inflict on the recipient's heart. We must always remember that our words are the mirror of our soul and should reflect understanding and kindness, not cruelty or contempt.

I utter words thinking the wind will whisk them away,
tossing syllables to the air like leaves in a torrent.
But I don't want my voice to cause dismay,
to inflict pain on those who are present.

Words, like arrows, can wound,
can leave scars upon the heart.
I must learn to tune,
my voice, my tone, my art.

For wind may carry my words away,
but it can't erase their mark on the soul.
I don't want to be the cause of dismay,
or be the storm that takes a toll.

So, with the wind in my favor,
I vow to be a bearer of love,
in each word, in each behavior,
so as not to make others suffer above.
