a dream is born within me.
I don't want to be the lone star
that shines only for itself to see.
I aim to be the lighthouse in the dark,
guiding lost ships at sea.

but help others find their way to be.
I don't seek to be the tallest tree,
standing alone, with none to see.
I want to be the forest that provides,
where everyone can find peace.
Let my laughter be the tune
that paints smiles with glee.
And let my achievements serve as bridges,
easing others' journey.
May the craving to outperform
not consume my role.
May my greatness be measured
by what I bring to the whole.
May the echo of my life ring,
not in applause, nor in gold.
But in the hearts that were touched
by the greatness with them I wished to hold.
