I can't help but feel a tidal wave of frustration. I send message after message, and all I receive in return is the echo of my own silence. How is it possible that they can't find even a minute to respond to me? Is it too much to ask for a single word of affection? My heart grows weary waiting for a sign, a gesture of love. Anxiety and sadness consume me as I come to realize that I'm not a priority for them. It's not fair! I deserve someone who doesn't just say they love me, but takes the time to show it. I deserve reciprocation, not indifference.
