May every day of our life reflect the light of Christ, being a living testimony of His love and sacrifice.
As we approach the time of reflection and commemoration of Holy Week, our hearts bow before the magnitude of the sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross. This act of unconditional love and total surrender invites us to reflect on our own lives and the path we are on. In a world full of challenges and shadows, the light of Christ shines as a beacon of hope and guidance, reminding us of the path towards true love and redemption.
The sacrifice on the cross reveals to us the depth of God's love for us, a love so vast that He gave His only Son so that we might have eternal life. John 3:16 highlights this eternal truth, reminding us of the foundation of our faith and the hope we have in Jesus. It calls us to live a life that reflects that love and sacrifice, aiming not only to follow His teachings but also to carry His light and love in a world that so desperately needs it.
Living by the example of Jesus means being light in the darkness, bringing hope to the hopeless, and love to the forgotten. Matthew 5:16 encourages us to let our light shine before others, so that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven. This is an invitation to live in such a way that our daily lives are a reflection of Christ’s love, showing kindness, compassion, and mercy in every action and word.
In this time of reflection, Philippians 2:15 becomes especially meaningful, calling us to be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation, where we shine like stars in the universe. This is our challenge and our mission: to live in such a way that our lives bear witness to the grace and love we have received. Let the sacrifice of Jesus be not just an event we remember once a year, but a living reality that shapes every aspect of our existence.
May this Holy Week, and every day that follows, be motivated by the love and sacrifice of Jesus, committing us to be reflections of His light in every corner of our lives. Let our existence not be in vain, but a continuous offering of gratitude and love to the One who gave everything for us.

A Poem to God: Closer Still
In the quiet of my heart, I whisper,
Yearning to draw nearer to You, Lord.
In Your love, I find strength and shelter,
On this journey, Your Word is my sword.
Guide me in righteousness, teach me Your ways,
In each moment, let Your presence be my guide.
With every step, let my life sing Your praise,
In Your grace, forever let me abide.
Let me be a vessel for Your love divine,
Shining Your light in the darkest of places.
Through me, may Your hope and mercy shine,
Bringing peace and joy to longing faces.
In the shadow of Your wings, I find my rest,
Closer to You, my soul eternally quests.
