WHAT IS IT LIKE TO FALL IN LOVE?
When you fall in love, you do crazy things. You know you shouldn't, but you do them anyway. Your heart decides.
You make plans with people you don't care about. You go on dates with people who are not good for your heart or your mind. You stay up all night talking about nothing important, and then wake up early the next morning to do it again.
When you fall in love, you take risks that seem insane from a logical perspective: You share all of your most sensitive, vulnerable parts with someone else because they make it feel safe to be yourself around them. They see through all of your defenses and defenses melt away as if by magic—you're just left with warm and fuzzy feelings about this person who makes everything better than ever before...or so it seems at first glance!
But when you fall in love with someone, there's always another side to the coin: Sometimes things don't work out the way we want them to work out—and that's okay! We learn more from our failures than we do from successes (I mean...unless those successes are really big wins).
