"Like a tree battered by the storm, resilience bends but never breaks." - Shoshan
Resilience is something we all have within us and it means that we can be strong and brave even when things get tough. It's like when you play a game and you lose, but you don't give up and keep trying until you finally win. Resilience is something that helps us keep going when things don't go our way, and allows us to overcome any problem or difficulty that comes our way.
Against the howling wind and rain,
I stand like a tree, battered and pained.
The storm around me rages on,
but I hold firm, my will not gone.
My branches bend and sway with ease,
yet never snap, never freeze.
For I am resilient, strong and true,
with roots that hold me firm like glue.
I've weathered storms both great and small,
and though they've left their scars and all,
my spirit stays unbroken still,
with hope and faith that never will.
So let the tempest rage and roar,
for I will stand, forevermore.
Like a tree that's weathered the storm,
my resilience bends, but never breaks, in any form.
