Unfulfilled promises are daggers that pierce trust and leave scars in the soul. How could you play with my emotions in such a way? Your words were like sweet melodies that caressed my ears, but now they only resonate as empty lies. I trusted you, I placed my hope in each of your promises, but all I found was disappointment and pain in their place. Do you not value the impact your actions have on me? Those scars on my soul are a constant reminder of the lack of integrity and commitment you displayed. You should have never uttered those words if you didn't have the intention to fulfill them. Your lack of sincerity has irreparably damaged our connection, and now I'm left to heal these deep wounds on my own.
Forgive my mistake, my empty promises,
it was never my intention to disappoint you.
Words slipped away without restraint,
leaving scars of damage in your heart, it's true.
I deeply regret having raised your hopes,
with promises I could never fulfill.
I became a victim of my own weaknesses,
and now I bear the weight of my deceitful will.
In each sad verse and in each broken rhyme,
I apologize for the wounds I have caused.
My promises, like fleeting sighs of time,
vanished into nothingness, leaving you paused.
I never meant to fail you, my beloved,
my heart longed to be true and sincere.
But my limitations dragged me down,
and in that confusion, I shattered what was dear.
Give me a chance to make amends,
to learn from my mistakes and to grow.
With humility, I beg for your forgiveness,
and allow me to rebuild what I let go.
