God expects us to do the right thing, even when it's tough.

In life, we face decisions that test us. Philippians 4:13 gives us encouragement: 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' Don't forget that God expects us to do the right thing, even when it's hard. In those moments, He is by our side, giving us the strength to choose well.
If you ever wonder why to choose the harder path, remember that doing the right thing has inherent value. It's not about rewards or punishments, but about living in a way that reflects the love and goodness in our hearts. At the end of the day, doing the right thing is simply that: the right thing. And that's the closest to God we can be.
God, give me the strength that I need,
to do what's right even when my heart does plead.
Guide my heart, align my soul,
teach me to choose what's right as my goal.
In moments of doubt, of fear and confusion,
be my lighthouse, my guide, my single vision.
May my path be clear, my choices wise,
and may they always reflect your eternal praise.
If the path is thorny, if there are rocks in the way,
accompany me, Lord, with your light every day.
May I never lack courage or faith,
as I follow the precepts read in your holy wraith.
Because doing what's right is not a burden but a gift,
it's the key to heaven, it's my only shift.
Help me to fulfill it with love and truth,
until I reunite with you, in your eternity sooth.
