Bad luck, you say?
Our ways of reasoning,
holding beliefs, opinions, and feelings,
have more to do with what happens to us,
than chance and fate.

Sometimes I wonder,
why bad things happen
to those of us who do good.
There are many questions
that go unanswered through life,
many unreasonable things,
and frustrations I have.
But maybe a lot of what happens to us
actually has to do with
the way in which we are thinking,
our attitudes towards life,
our opinions about ourselves and others,
our beliefs and lack of them...
Maybe it's not simply chance or destiny
but something we are doing to ourselves,
a path we are taking and building on our own.
