It's impossible to keep everyone happy, to please everyone equally, to make everyone perfectly satisfied... sometimes it's good to accept this in order to stop exhausting ourselves by trying.

Sometimes we get burned out
by trying to please others,
trying to keep everyone at peace,
trying to give everyone the same
so that they are happy
and don't whine.

But everyone is different,
and there will always be
those who aren't happy
with what you do for them.

Everyone has different needs,
they are at a different stages of life,
they have different experiences
and divergent thoughts.

Sometimes you just have to
stop beating yourself up
on trying to make everyone happy,
and acknowledge
that we can't always succeed at it,
but what really counts
is our willingness to do good to other people,
and that what we do comes from the heart,
in an attempt to help.

If they don't understand that,
tough luck, but you go ahead
with what you think is best.
