Prayer: I feel lonesome, oh God

There are times when we feel lonely, discouraged and defeated. Let us turn our eyes to God and ask for his help. He is always reaching out to us.

Lord, my God,
I’m lonesome.

I feel that without your help
I won’t be able to move forward.

It is my desire
to come closer to you,
my Lord and Savior,
who knows and repairs
all that which is broken.

I need you to help me become
the person I once was.

Give me strength,
walk with me,
and help me.
