On This Father's Day, a Letter from a Son Who Finds It Hard to Express How Much He Values You

Dear Dad,

Today, on Father's Day, I wanted to take a moment to try and put into words something that I often find hard to express. I'm not one for grand speeches, and as you know, my feelings don't always make their way into words easily. But today feels like the right time to try.

Thank you. It's a simple phrase that I don't say nearly enough, but I feel it deeply. Thank you for all those times your love showed through in the smallest details—details that might go unnoticed by others but mean the world to me.

Thank you for waiting up for me, for making breakfast on those mornings I didn't expect it, for worrying about me even when I pretend everything's under control. It's those little things that truly mean a lot.

We might not have deep conversations about life every day, and sometimes our silence speaks louder than words could. But in that silence, my respect and love for you are always present. I value every sacrifice you've made for our family, every time you've been there to support me, even when you didn't know exactly how.

This Father's Day, I just want you to know how much I appreciate you—more than words can say. Even though I might not say it often, I admire and love you deeply. Thank you for being my dad, for being an example of love and strength.
